Clark Calls Last Fire Mission

Atlanta Journal-Constitution - MAJ Joe Clark reports that after the ten-year reunion, he spent 3 years  teaching  at USMA's  Social Sciences Dept (Econ, Accounting, Corporate Finance), after which he left Field Artillery to become a Comptroller.  In June, Joe and Jen relocated to Atlanta and took an assignment at ARCENT HQ (Fort McPherson) where he's the Desk Officer for Iraq; there, he reviews  spending plans line-by-line and handles all financial issues relating to US-based organizations which, for 2003, totaled about $9.6 billion.  Additionally, Joe is awaiting assignment to ILE (CGSC equivalent for non-combat arms officers) in March (Joe had been deferred three times while at West Point).

Joe has two children:  Jocelyn (2 years) and Jason (born November 2004).   Further, Joe passed the Certified Financial Planner exam in July and got my designation in October, which allows him to work on the side as a part-time job.  If fellow Spartans are traveling to Atlanta, look up Joe and his family.
